Associated General Contractors of Virginia (AGC-VA)

The largest and most influential construction trade organization in the state of Virginia. It comprises more than 740 member firms including general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and service providers. Their membership includes more general contractors and subcontractors than any other construction trade association in Virginia.

National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA)

The National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA), established in 1918, is the national trade association representing the concrete masonry industry. The Association is involved in a broad range of technical, research, marketing, government relations and communications activities. NCMA is an association of producers of concrete masonry products, and suppliers of products and services related to the industry. NCMA offers a variety of technical services and design aids through publications, computer programs, slide presentations and technical training.

The Blue Book of Building & Construction

Since 1913, The Blue Book of Building and Construction has been the construction industry’s premier information source. The Blue Book publishes regional construction directories in most major markets throughout the United States. Online, www.thebluebook.com provides easy access to continually updated information for each of The Blue Book’s regional editions. Construction buyers and sellers also have free access to BB-Bid, The Blue Book’s online bid management system.

Builders & Contractor’s Exchange Hampton Roads, Virginia

Serves as the voice of the construction industry in the Hampton Roads. Promotes a spirit of cooperation and good will, cooperates with other groups, associations, or professional societies, advises its members of new developments in the industry, supports legislation in the interest of the construction industry and the community, formulates and promotes policies and procedures regarding invitations for bids, bidding, and contracting, and serves the various levels of government and the community with standing or special committees.

VA Peninsula Chamber of Commerce

Advocates and supports the economic and business interests of the Virginia Peninsula and the Region. The Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary membership business association that believes more can be accomplished on behalf of business and the community by banding together. The Chamber is a not-for-profit, non-partisan, and non-sectarian organization operating on behalf of all its members for the good of the whole. It currently serves over 2,700 business members.

Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned Business

DMBE is the state agency dedicated to enhancing the participation of our small, women- and minority-owned businesses in Virginia’s procurement opportunities. DMBE is responsible for the administration of two certification programs: the Small, Women- and Minority-owned Businesses under Virginia’s “SWaM” Procurement Initiative and the federal U.S. Department of Transportation’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (“DBE”) Program.

Interlock Paving Systems, Inc

Interlock Paving Systems, Inc., began in 1983 and offers concrete pavers that meet and often exceed industry standards.  With almost 30 years of manufacturing experience, Interlock was a founding charter member of the Interlocking Concrete Paving Institute (ICPI) and helped establish the industry standards used today.  Interlock provides customers the ability to tailor paver colors, textures and sizes for pedestrian as well as vehicular uses, plus special purposes involving for example environmental requirements and unique designs.
